Handpicked and hand sorted fruit crushed into small open top stainless steel fermenters. The cap was gently punched down by hand three times per day. After gently pressing, the young wine was transferred to French oak barrels to complete fermentation.

17 months in French oak barrels. 20% New.
Tasting Notes
The 2022 Walla Walla Cabernet Franc is a vibrant testament to how much these vines loved the weather in 2022. A deep garnet color fills the glass. Aromas of black currant and ripe blackberry meld seamlessly with layers of cocoa, dried violet, and a hint of roasted coffee bean. Notes of pomegranate and raspberry bring brightness, while savory elements of rosemary, sage, and dusty earth add intriguing complexity.
On the palate, this Cabernet Franc reveals its structure and finesse, with firm yet supple tannins and a lively acidity that brings depth and vibrancy. Flavors of dark cherry and blueberry glide alongside undertones of anise and allspice, creating a tapestry of ripe fruit and spice. The mouthfeel is lush and round, carrying a long, layered finish that invites further exploration with each sip.
