Tasting Notes
Lewis Vineyard consistently provides deeply colored, concentrated wines due to the viticultural practice of maximum light exposure to the clusters. A cooler site, the vineyard sits at an elevation of 1200 feet in the Yakima Valley near Prosser, Washington. The first Syrah vines for this vineyard were planted in 1996. Always inky, dark purple in color, with exotic aromas and flavors of wild black raspberry, cherry cola, boysenberry, cocoa nibs, incense, and dark spice. This wine is bottled aged for two years resulting in a rich, wonderfully complex wine with a smooth finish. Enjoy!
Drink 2023-2039.
