Tasting Notes
A barrel selection of the finest barrels from the vintage, this wine represents the exceptional quality of fruit grown in our Estate Vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley. The Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon presents itself in the glass with a deep, inky ruby hue, indicating its concentration and depth. The nose is inviting, offering an abundance of dark fruit aromas, including blackberry, black cherry, and ripe plum, layered with hints of cedar, vanilla, and baking spices. Subtle notes of graphite and tobacco leaf add complexity and intrigue. On the palate, this wine displays remarkable richness and structure, with velvety tannins providing a luxurious mouthfeel. Flavors of cassis, anise, dark chocolate, and espresso beans dominate, supported by nuances of toasted oak and cigar box. The finish is long and lingering, with echoes of dark fruit and savory spice lingering on the palate, leaving a memorable impression. Perfectly suited for cellaring or enjoying in its youth, it promises a rewarding wine experience. Drink 2024-2039.
