Winemaking Notes
Handpicked and hand sorted. Some whole cluster fruit along with fully destemmed fruit. Fermented in 1.5 and 2 ton open top fermenters with cap punched down by hand 2-3 times per day. Secondary fermentation finished in barrel and puncheons.

Aged 17 months in French oak barrels and puncheons, 40% new French Oak

Our Reserve Syrah, a masterful New World-Style cuvée crafted from four unique vineyard sites in The Rocks District, presents a mesmerizing aromatic profile. The nose is an alluring blend of boysenberry, olive, roasted meat, and wet stone, along with pepper and spice adding depth and intrigue. On the palate, the wine reveals a velvety smooth texture and complex briny notes of green olive and dark cherry, harmonized by umami and cocoa nibs. The finish is exceptionally long and refined, leaving a lingering impression.
